Sinopse: In the immediate future, a giant meteorite has collided with earth. All living organisms, including mankind, have been wiped off the face of the planet. The government, who had foreseen this outcome, took measures to counter the worst-case scenario. In particular was Project “7 SEEDS”, in which five sets of seven gifted young men and women were carefully selected and placed into teams (Spring, Summer A, Summer B, Autumn and Winter). Each participant was then put under cryogenic sleep in hopes of preserving the continued existence of mankind. As they struggled for survival, they went through many partings from, and some reunions with, their friends. Hana, who's been swept away in a rapid stream nd miraculously survived, met Fujiko and Chisa again. Aramaki and Ayu, who'd set out on a journey to search or Hana, also joined the group. After Tsunomata and Hibari ran into Hana and crew, the seven of them decided to travel to Hibari's home, Sado island. At the same time, the mix of teams landed on a small island. Team Summer B happened to find their way to said island, as well. It was Kagijima, which was connected with the shelter on Sado island, but they were scattered underground, which was inhabited by giant ants and other creatures, and they all got caught in predicaments.
