DEATH COMES TO NETHERFIELD

Título: DEATH COMES TO NETHERFIELD

Autor: M. A. ENGLAND

Sinopse: Miss Elizabeth Bennet was in Hunsford visiting the parsonage home of her friend Mrs. Charlotte Collins when she received a letter from her sister Jane telling about the murder of a young woman at Netherfield. In the letter Jane said that Mr. Bingley had returned to Netherfield and that he was being considered as a possible suspect in the murder and she begged for Elizabeth to return to Longbourn. Mr. Darcy had been visiting his aunt at Rosings but this day he had come to the parsonage to visit with Elizabeth when she told him of the murder. Frightened that Bingley and those at Longbourn might be in danger, Darcy and Elizabeth returned to Hertfordshire. The timing was terrible for Darcy for he was slowly making progress in winning Miss Bennet’s good opinion but now he had to devote the whole of his energies to help find the killer and protect his friends. Darcy hired investigators and security men to guard Longbourn and now found that Miss Bennet wanted to assist him in finding the killer. Elizabeth slowly saw that Darcy had changed or perhaps she had changed as she learned more about him and his goodness. As they worked together to discover the killer they soon learned that Mr. Wickham and another man had been arrested. Elizabeth and Darcy believed these men innocent and continued to look for the killer but time was running out. Darcy’s hard work and his determination was on display but would all his efforts be enough to discover the killer and finally win Elizabeth’s love? (less)
