Joined the Willie handcart company in 1856 in Iowa City, Iowa to Salt Lake City, Utah 4. LDS soldier in the Utah War 1858 5. Entered into plural marriage in 1868 6. Pioneer, farmer, settler of Lehi, Utah 1858-1865 and later in Toquerville, Utah 1865-1910 7. Served six months in the Utah Territory Penitentiary and for "unlawful cohabitation" (plural marriage) 1887-1888 8. Died in 1910 at the age of 90 years and buried in Toquerville, Utah
