Sinopse: About the Author Guido Farina was born in Gallinaro, Frosinone, Italy. After coming to America after the Second World War, he became a U.S. citizen and he served in the U.S. Army. He continued his education in the United States, graduating from Coyne Electrical and Technical School, Beacon College and Boston College. He worked for Raytheon for twenty-two years and taught in the Newton, Massachusetts Public Schools. Guido Farina is the author of Montecassino: The People's Real Battle, his autobiography, written in both English and Italian. He has also written Fire Over The Desert, a romantic and fanciful novel, where love flourishes and burns on the Sahara and blooms again on the North Sea. His third novel is Faith and Passion. Inspired by the grandeur of those words, he evokes the power of his writing to heighten the deep feeling of the sweeping fervor of the Novel. His books are published both in English and Italian. He has also written Learning Italian With or Without a Teacher which includes an audio CD. Now retired and living on Cape Cod, Guido dedicates most of his time to writing and gardening.
