The holes in this folder have a special LOCK-IN feature. But first, a word of caution: always hold a coin by the edge and never touch its obverse or reverse. We recommend you wear gloves when pressing your coins into place. Now that you are ready, simply place the coin with one edge tipped into the hole, and then press the high edge downward and toward the lowered edge (slantwise). Feel the snap? It's locked in! In 1999 the United States Mint started an exciting new series of Washington quarters. Through the year 2008, the standard design on the reverse will be replaced with a commemorative design for wach of the 50 states: five per year (in the order in which they joined the Union) for 10 years. This redesign is the first change to the quarter in more than 20 years. The words "United States of America" and "Quarter Dollar" will be moved to the obverse of the coins and the year will appear on the reverse. A great gift idea for any Coin Collector!
